How to update your blog sidebar

You have full control of sidebars within Event Engine. Sidebars appear in the standard Event Engine blog template, and can be updated at anytime.

First you will need to access the customiser in the admin bar of the website.

Accessing the customiser

When you are logged into your event website, you will see the admin toolbar at the top of any page.

To view the changes that you will be making before publishing access the customiser when on your blog page.

Hover over your site name in the toolbar and select “Customise”.

In the customiser you then need to select the “Widgets” section.

Then you will need to click the “Primary Sidebar” option.

Here you can control what you would like to show in the blog sidebar.

Once you select an element you can drag and drop the order until your happy and then click “Publish”.
